FFSK External Modem with Integral GPS Receiver

Model P8102 is an external FFSK modem incorporating a GPS receiver, mainly for use in fleet control applications.

This modem uses FFSK modulation, with selectable data over radio baud rates of 1200 and 2400 bps, and uses a synchronous data protocol for channel efficiency. It also uses Reed-Solomon forward error correction coding.

This model can be suppied in two versions: one incorporating FFSK modem, and another with RS-232 interface with MAP-27 protocol for use with MPT-1327 trunked radios.
